The purpose of the drill was to practice personnel actions in the event of an emergency, as well as to ensure readiness for prompt, coordinated, and safe response to incidents related to uncontrolled blowouts.
The event was organized in compliance with industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental protection requirements. During the training, procedures for alerting, evacuation, accident containment, and interdepartmental coordination were practiced.
