The Bashenkol structure was first identified in 1960 based on the results of a gravimetric survey in the northwestern part of the Kokzhide sands. In 1961, seismic survey work and geological surveying were carried out at the Bashenkol structure.

In 2004,  the Contract for exploration of raw hydrocarbons at blocks XXII-21 (partially), 22 (partially), XXIII-20 (partially), 21 (partially), 22 (partially), XXIV-20 (partially), 22 (partially) was signed between the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the RoK and Firm ADA LLP, the investors of which were the participants of the Partnership's share: Korea National Oil Corporation, LG International and KERNHEM B.V. In 2005, the subsurface use rights under the Contract for exploration of raw hydrocarbons at the specified structure were transferred to Firm Ada Oil LLP

In 2006 the first wells BSK1X and BSK2X were drilled

In 2009, the Bashenkol field started the operation

In 2011, "The estimation of oil and gas reserves of Bashenkol field " was executed and approved

At the end of 2012, the phase of raw hydrocarbons exploration in Aktobe region was completed

On April 23, 2013, the Contract of subsurface use rights for hydrocarbon production at Bashenkol field within block XXII-22-D (partially), E (partially) was signed up to 2037

In 2022, the shares in Firm Ada Oil LLP of “Korea National Oil Corporation” and “LG International” (was renamed to “LX International” in 2021) passed to the ownership of Private Company “Perfect Capital Group Ltd.”

In 2024, the shares in “Firm Ada Oil” LLP were acquired by “ MK KTK Company” LLC , thereby the Partnership got an access to pumping its oil through the pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium according to the License agreement for pumping capacities use.

Firm Ada Oil LLP develops and produces raw hydrocarbons at Bashenkol field, which is located within the territory of  Mugalzhar and Temir districts of Aktobe region, in 257 km to the south-east of Aktobe city.

Firm Ada Oil LLP was registered in 2005.
